Once upon a time, millipede and snake were great friends to
the extent that millipede's children would go to snake's house and return to
their home with no problems.
During those days’ snake had legs and millipede
had eyes by God, so snake and millipede continued being friends although they
lived in different villages.
The one-day snake was invited to hen's wedding but under one a condition that all the invited ones should have eyes that they may see the
brides and celebrate well, millipede and his family were not invited, the snake
remembered that he has legs but no eyes, he had to go to the next village to
borrow the eyes of his friend and was welcomed joyfully.
The snake then asked millipede to grant him his eyes but
millipede refused, but he asked insistently then millipede asked for a favour
that if he gives him his eyes, then snake should give him his legs that he may
be able to walk at least, so they exchanged.
So long as the snake had never possessed eyes he really
wondered about the beautiful things then he went to the wedding. After the wedding
snake saw eyes were better than legs and didn't return millipede's eyes, and
when millipede saw snake not returning his eyes, he was really hurt and
couldn't do anything so long as he could see no more.
That is the end of our story, that is why today
snake uses stomach to move but sees and the millipede has legs but can't see
anymore.
